01. Concept
The Alantara Sanur incorporates locally sourced stone and hardwoods that are attuned to the surrounding environment. The decorative use of terracotta tiles on the hotel’s outer façade is reminiscent of architectural traditions that date back to the Majapahit era. Tropical landscaping, highlighted by native flora and artistic touches, was conceptualized by the late Made Wijaya.
